£35,000 - £40,000 (starting salary of £35,000 with a progression plan increasing to £40,000)

Our client is a well-established engineering firm specialising in innovative sheet metal solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of their customers. They're on the lookout for a Production Coordinator with a sheet metal background, who has previous hands on experience, and an understanding or Inventor or Radan. This role will play an important part in managing the day to day operations, and has the scope to progress as the company continues to grow. It's a great chance for someone who wants to be part of a close-knit team, within a growing company.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Support senior leadership by managing day-to-day operations, allowing focus on strategic growth
  • Act as the central point of contact for team leads across Production, Design, Procurement, and Installation
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments and timely completion of work
  • Help schedule installation jobs and allocate tasks to installation engineers
  • Raise purchase orders and assist with basic procurement activities
  • Foster a friendly and approachable presence, encouraging open communication across the team
  • Ideally assist with basic design tasks or interpret 3D drawings to support customer discussions
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Strong background in sheet metal
  • Previous experience as a Production Coordinator/Manager
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Radan
  • Familiarity with SAGE software
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Hands-on, team-first attitude
