Qualifications

Product Quality Assurance Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Product Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality and food safety across a fast-paced fresh produce operation.

This is a hands-on role with real influence, responsible for ensuring products meet all legal, customer and certification standards from production through to customer delivery.

The role

• Own site product quality, food safety and integrity
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS v9, GlobalG.A.P, Red Tractor and customer specifications
• Deliver Quality Service Level (QSL) targets
• Lead and develop QA and Label Room teams
• Investigate complaints, rejections and non-conformances
• Drive a strong “right first time” quality culture
• Support audits, customer visits and continuous improvement

About you

• Experience in a quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing
• HACCP and Food Safety Level 2 (Level 3 desirable)
• Strong communicator with the confidence to stand up for quality
• Analytical, organised and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
• Team leadership experience preferred
