Job Description

Title: J&J Innovative Medicine Product Manager – Oncology (Prostate Cancer)

Location: Field Based / Office Based 2 Days Remote

What you will do

As Product Manager for the Prostate Cancer portfolio you will define and drive the strategic vision for the brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives and patient needs. Your focus will be on shaping long‑term growth, positioning the portfolio competitively, and delivering innovative patient‑centric marketing strategies that make a meaningful impact in oncology care.

Key Role Activities
  • Conduct external environment scanning and build partnerships with key stakeholders to gather NHS and competitive insights including attending congresses and performing desk research.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to drive advocacy, trust and collaboration for the Prostate Cancer portfolio.
  • Lead strategy development using cross‑functional inputs and tools to create situational analyses, segmentation and targeting strategies.
  • Map disease pathways and identify value pools to design services and solutions that improve patient outcomes.
  • Create and execute tactical business plans in collaboration with the Country Value Team (CVT) ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Support and analyze market research and business intelligence to inform strategic decisions and adjust plans as needed.
  • Facilitate workshops with CVT to define critical success factors, brainstorm solutions and present plans to internal stakeholders and EMEA partners.
  • Manage financial planning including raising purchase orders, tracking budgets and monitoring advertising and sales promotion spend to ensure ROI.
  • Define and monitor brand metrics, analyse sales data versus forecasts and propose corrective actions to optimise performance.
  • Collaborate with EMEA teams to align strategies, share progress and uphold the collaborative model for asset development.
  • Provide clear brand direction to field and marketing teams through regular communication, co‑create promotional materials and deliver product training.
  • Coordinate implementation of tactical plans including managing omnichannel campaigns, marketing‑mix optimisation and agency partnerships.
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs to ensure compliance with guidelines and integrate scientific insights into marketing activities.
  • Ensure adherence to Health Care Compliance (HCC) requirements, adverse‑event reporting and regulatory standards in all interactions and commissioned activities.

  • Digital & Omnichannel Team – optimise digital engagement and channel mix.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Teams – ensure adherence to HCC and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Influencing and communication / interpersonal skills and an ability to work across functions / roles.
  • Oncology / Prostate Cancer experience is desirable.
  • Facilitation and presentation skills, virtually and face‑to‑face.
  • Consistent record of developing working collaborations at all levels (internally and externally).
  • Leadership without direct‑line authority.
  • Achiever approach with focus on delivery.
  • Attention to detail.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Post‑graduate degree is optional.

Preferred: Previous Sales‑Marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry.
