A leading insurance provider in Londonderry is seeking a Senior Consultant II to design and implement applications while owning the full stack of software products. This role involves leveraging modern engineering practices to influence architectural decisions, enhance automation, and work on enterprise-scale innovation. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and testing frameworks, alongside a passion for driving continuous delivery and technical excellence.
At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.
As a Senior Consultant II, you will design and implement applications following 12‑factor principles, owning the full stack of software products—from front‑end experiences to backend services. You will leverage test‑driven development, continuous integration, and modern engineering practices to ensure agility, scalability, and quality.
Beyond coding, you will actively influence architectural decisions, ensuring that the simplest, most effective technology choices meet user needs and align with enterprise standards.
One that takes your skills and pushes them to the next level, one that encourages you to challenge the status quo, one where you can shape the future of protection while supporting causes that mean the most to you. Joining our team means being part of something bigger – a winning team making a meaningful impact.
