Overview

Product Development Co-ordinator – Location: Folkestone, Kent. Department: R&D - Technical Service - Product Development. Reporting to: Senior Development Chemist - Technical Service.

We're looking for a Product Development Co-ordinator to join our growing R&D Technical Service team. You'll be involved in everything from post-launch product improvements to supporting global product registrations, working with teams across the business and with external partners. If you're passionate about science, product development and making a real impact on products that reach consumers around the world, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate product updates after launch, including changes to materials, packaging and manufacturing sites.
  • Collect and organize technical documentation (safety data, claims, manufacturing details) to support global market launches.
  • Work with the Global Regulatory team on product registrations and approvals.
  • Support R&D and manufacturing teams with process and testing changes.
  • Write and review technical reports, protocols, and development plans.
  • Manage in-house and outsourced testing activities.
  • Enter product and raw material specifications into SAP PLM.
  • Share project updates and keep stakeholders informed.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Chemistry (or a closely related science).
  • 3+ years' experience in product development and/or project coordination.
  • Experience in healthcare or personal care products (formulation/testing).
  • Great communication and teamwork skills - confident working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Proactive, solutions-driven and detail-focused.
  • Confident IT skills (MS Office essential; SAP PLM a plus).
  • Knowledge of Medical Device regulations (nice to have, not essential).
