This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Comcast Enterprise Procurement team as a Procurement Manager. You will support strategic sourcing for Consumer Product & Network related spend across Sky Group (UK, DACH, ITA) and Comcast/NBCU in the US, interacting with global and local departments including Technology/Product, Finance and Legal.

What you\'ll do
  • Reporting to the Head of Procurement for Content Protection and IoT, support local and group-wide deals across key markets (USA, UK, Italy, Germany) and assist other leaders within the Consumer Product and Networks team in line with the Enterprise Procurement operating model.
  • Contribute to the Procurement strategy for the team\'s spend categories, including customer premise equipment, content protection technologies and IoT devices.
  • Own and lead data gathering and analytics for spend information, contract data, market analysis and other required data and reports.
  • Own a pipeline of tactical deals in Content Protection and IoT and support strategic initiatives within the wider category.
  • Build and maintain internal partner relationships, ensuring alignment between strategic technology plans and Procurement\'s direction.
  • Produce deal summaries and deliver quality presentations and reports at Director level, communicating financial and non-financial benefits to stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives, including company-wide cost-saving programmes.
  • Understand external factors and key challenges in the Media industry and use this knowledge to drive innovation and improve business processes.
What you\'ll bring
  • Proven procurement experience including development of category plans, sourcing tools/techniques and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to stakeholders and challenge when necessary/appropriate.
  • Experience running sourcing activities (RFPs, contract management, large-scale renewals, stakeholder management).
  • Understanding of key contract terms such as liabilities, indemnities, intellectual property rights, termination rights, etc.
  • Good understanding of Sky/Comcast platforms and the wider business context.
  • Experience in an analyst role within a procurement team.
  • Experience in a global/pan-European function and understanding of associated challenges.
