Description

Our client is a discrete single-family office based in London. They are looking to hire an Investment Manager to focus on private equity investments across the UK and Europe.

Working as part of a small investment team, the successful candidate will focus on private equity activity. The investment group is looking to grow its portfolio of funds across venture, growth, buyout, and other private strategies, while also making co-investments alongside GPs and managing a selection of direct investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse, monitor and oversee existing investments and portfolios, covering a diverse range of strategies and regions.
2. Play a pivotal role in the screening and due diligence through to completion of new private equity fund and co-investment opportunities.
3. Establish network and map global PE community.
4. Help improve internal analysis, reporting, and controls around existing portfolios.
5. Financial modelling across existing and prospective investments.
6. Contribute to investment committee meetings.

Required Skills/Experience

1. 4-7 years' relevant private markets manager research and selection experience.
2. Exposure to co-investments and/or direct investments would be beneficial.
3. Strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree) from a top-tier university.
4. Team player who is happy to join a small growing team.
5. Strong analytical skills with financial modelling experience.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
