Investment Team Analyst – Private Equity (London)

A London-based private equity firm, focused on the European lower mid-market, is seeking an Investment Team Analyst to join its dynamic and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong analytical and organisational skills to gain exposure across deal flow management, market research, and investment execution support.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent modelling, communication, and organisational capabilities. They will play a vital role in supporting the investment team across deal sourcing, tracking, research, and analysis, as well as contributing to meetings with fund managers and preparing follow-up reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the firm’s deal flow database and pipelines.
• Prepare statistical updates and benchmarking analyses for weekly meetings and quarterly reporting.
• Support investment projects and regional/fund research initiatives.
• Attend meetings with fund managers and produce detailed reports.
• Analyse track records and terms & conditions of reviewed opportunities.
• Produce market matrices and assist with ongoing portfolio research.

Candidate Profile

• Organised, analytical, and enthusiastic team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent academic background with ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Highly numerate with outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong communication and writing skills; comfortable engaging with clients and external stakeholders.
