My client,a highly regarded North Yorkshire law firm, arelooking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join theirwell-established and thriving Private Client department.

The firm has offices in Ripon, Thirsk and Bedale, with this role ideally based in their Ripon office — a stunning Georgian building in the heart of the city, offering the increasingly rare benefit of free on-site parking.

This is a firm with an exceptional local reputation. Many of their clients are long-standing, with the firm advising multiple generations of families. The Private Client department is the largest within the practice and plays a central role in the firm’s continued success.

The role will involve a full and varied Private Client caseload, including:

• Wills
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Inheritance Tax and estate planning

The firm places a strong emphasis on excellent client care, reflected in an extremely low complaints record and loyal client base, including high-net-worth individuals.

The ideal candidate will have solid, hands-on experience across all aspects of Private Client work. STEP membership is preferred, but the firm is fully supportive and would sponsor the right candidate to achieve STEP if not already qualified.
