Job description

Sacco Mann is recruiting for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a distinguished team based in Nottingham. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced candidate to work within a well-regarded department specialising in high-net-worth clients. As a Managing Associate in the Trusts, Estates and Tax team, you will be responsible for progressing and supervising the administration of a diverse range of estates, including taxable, non-taxable, family dispute settlements and estates with business or agricultural assets. You will work alongside a team of specialists, advising on a range of Private Client matters, with a significant focus on high-value and complex cases, including international estates and trust arrangements. Your role will also involve drafting estate planning reports, working with land and business owners, and contributing to the development of the department through supervisory and business development activities.

  • 8-15 years' PQE or equivalent experience in trusts, estates, and tax law
  • Experience in managing and supervising estate administrations, including complex and high net worth cases
  • Background in estate planning, with experience working with business owners and landowners
  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning reports and advising on trusts and tax issues
  • STEP membership or a desire to undertake STEP qualifications
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of industry standards
  • Proven case management and financial management skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Self-starting, personable, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
