Private Client – Central London Partner/Partner - Designate/Head of Department

Our Client is a very profitable, well-run UK law firm with massive ambition tare now looking to add to their London office, with the appointment of a senior lawyer.

The Firm

With two offices in the South and Central London, the firm covers a full spectrum of legal services, representing clients both in the international and regional markets. Further growth is planned and we are now looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to head the firms department over two locations.

The Team and Opportunity

It is in this context of excellence and ambition that our Client is recruiting a technically strong senior lawyer as a Partner to lead its Private Client team.

The Private Client team comprises of several lawyers and handles a full range of private client work including Wills, powers of attorney, trust creation and administration, estate planning and administration, and Court of Protection matters. Their client base includes HNW and UHNW individuals, trustees, landowners and business owners who may have assets in the UK or abroad.

The Candidate

This is a unique development role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to lead and drive the progression and growth of the firm’s Private Client service. You will take on several existing client relationships, along with the freedom to set the team’s strategy in accordance with the firm’s vision, creating high-value, new business opportunities for the team and, through referrals, to the wider firm.

Team leadership skills as well as very good business development ability is essential to this role as you will be heading the department and building the team, moving forward.

Unusually for this type of opportunity, no pre existing client following is essential, although this would obviously be advantageous.
