What you will do:
- Focus on Commercial, Residential & Mixed-Use Real Estate lending as part of a broader Private Banking relationship, including growing your deposit book, regulated mortgage leads, and generating other income and fees for the bank.
- Support the Head of Private Banking in representing Metro Bank in the property market, building our brand reputation among customers and professionals.
- Manage an active portfolio of HNW individuals, focusing on Commercial Real Estate lending customers and acquiring new clients.
- Deliver on lending and other objectives, responding to risk, market, and regulatory challenges.
- Promote an innovative Private Banking brand focusing on excellent customer service.
- Understand HNWI banking requirements and present borrowing needs to underwriters and credit committees.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage their day-to-day banking to move to Metro Bank.

What you will need:
- Proven relationship management skills and sector knowledge in commercial/corporate Real Estate Finance.
- Excellent credit origination and deal structuring skills in Real Estate Finance.
- Experience from Private Banks or Boutique organizations, with a focus on acquiring and managing HNW clients.
- Line management experience, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- A strong track record of building a client portfolio and strategic acquisition.
- A passion for providing exceptional service and convenience.
- Confidence in presenting client needs to underwriters and credit committees.
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships and transition their banking to Metro Bank.
- Coaching and regulatory compliance experience.
