What you will do

• Provide a full pharmacy service including dispensing, supervised medication administration, accuracy checking (where trained), supporting those managing substance misuse, and conducting medicines reconciliation.
• Engage with life on the wings and within the dispensary, collaborating with healthcare staff to optimise prescribing and effective medicines management.
• Manage stock control and controlled drug management, all while adhering closely to prison-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
• Uphold strict confidentiality standards, maintain security protocols such as the secure transport of medicines within the prison, and support ongoing clinical audits and SOP updates.
