A global logistics firm in Haywards Heath is seeking a professional to enhance their operational excellence through business information modelling. The role involves developing information models, collaborating with various stakeholders, and applying best practices in data management. APM Terminals (APMT) plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals. In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator.

Purpose: One of the core strategic pillars in APMT’s strategy is operational excellence: "This is our platform for current and new terminals, where all value streams are standard, scalable, and replicable from acquisition, to construction, integration and all the way down to running a terminal." Implementing, optimizing and scaling Operations Technology will play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic goals, ranging from initiatives like implementing complex brownfield automation at a fast pace to optimize man‑hours per move or efforts to optimize running‑hours per move by systemized solutions in our maritime terminals.
