A local government authority in England is seeking a qualified Engineer to assist with flooding projects and support related teams. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in hydraulic and drainage design, with experience relevant to Flood and Water Management Act 2010. Responsibilities include project management, design and site supervision of flooding schemes, and producing technical documents. The Flood and Coastal team require a suitably qualified Engineer to assist in the delivery of a range of flooding projects and to carry out the roles and responsibilities within the Lead Local Flood Authority. The post holder will also provide support to Highways, Bridges and Structures Teams when required.
Applicants must be self‑motivated and have a flexible approach to working arrangements and will have suitable experience and operational knowledge.
