Bring your skills to the mix. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of electrical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We currently have opportunities in our Bristol, Surrey, Derby, Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow offices (other locations may be considered).

Your Purpose
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design processes.
What you can bring
  • Chartered Electrical Engineer.
  • Significant experience in the Water Industry.
  • Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations and systems within industrial/process environments, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX installation practices, production of SLD/BCD's, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK design standards and industry practices.
  • Proficiency in digital analysis packages such as Trimble/Amtech, following local and national guidance.
