As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in electrical engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects both at home and abroad.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead a team in undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in design.

What You Can Bring

• Chartered Electrical Engineer.
• Significant experience in the Water Industry.
• Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design (LV and HV systems), motor control centres/switchgear, electrical installations in industrial/process environments, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX practices, production of SLD/BCD diagrams, earthing and bonding, and familiarity with UK design standards and industry practices.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as Trimble/Amtech, following local and national guidance.
