Job summary

A leading Cybersecurity consultancy is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Architect to shape secure technical solutions for high-profile Defence and Government programmes. In this remote role, you will lead security architecture, guide clients on key standards, and build trusted relationships while working across multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will possess over 7 years of client-facing technical security delivery experience, strong infrastructure knowledge, and a relevant technical degree or equivalent. Qualifications

• 7+ years client-facing technical security delivery, ideally in the public sector.

Principal Cyber Security Architect – Key Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and assurance across full systems engineering lifecycle
• Guide clients on standards including NIST, CAF, CE, Secure by Design
• Own technical delivery + build trusted client relationships
• Work across multi‑disciplinary teams to secure innovative systems
• Support pre‑sales, tenders, and technical proposals
• Stay ahead of latest cyber developments through funded training & events

Principal Cyber Security Architect – Key Skills Required

• 7+ years client‑facing technical security delivery (public sector ideal)
• Deep infrastructure experience (Windows, Linux, SQL)
• Knowledge of private / public cloud security
• Experience with JSP440, JSP604 / 453, accreditation & approvals
• Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles
• CISSP strongly desired; technical degree or equivalent
