They are recognized for their focus on sustainable, innovative, and performance-driven design, offering services including acoustics, air quality, building services (MEP), fire, lighting, security, and sustainability. The Role: Based in Oxford, the office supports projects mainly in complex sectors like Science, Research, and Healthcare. The role of Principal or Associate Engineer involves supporting and delivering a variety of projects, working within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high-quality service, and developing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include client engagement, promoting services, defining project briefs, leading large schemes, supporting team development, managing project workload and costs, ensuring quality standards, and mitigating risks.
About You: Successful candidates will have proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar, with a track record in complex projects. They should understand mechanical services such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and have experience in a multidisciplinary environment with strong communication skills. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required, along with familiarity with British Standards and consultancy experience. An understanding of related specialisms like acoustics, fire engineering, and computer modelling is also important.
