Shining Stars Tutors is looking for incredible online tutors to join our fast-growing team. We are looking for tutors who are inspiring, motivated educators, ready to make a difference.

So what makes us different? In addition to being competitively priced, we will provide a number of FREE virtual sessions aimed at learner's who would not otherwise be able to access private tutors (though there is a focus, anyone can attend). These sessions will be aimed at common concepts in English and Maths. Shining Stars also provide parent workshops in order to help parents/guardians understand the concepts in the Primary Curriculum, SATs and 11+.

Responsibilities

• Tutoring children ages 5-11 one-to-one Maths, English, and/or Reasoning online or at the tutee's home
• Analysing assessment data to prepare engaging lessons
• Maintaining relationships with parents and children
• Completing lesson reports
• Maintaining communication with the relevant Client Manager

Requirements

• 1+ year of teaching/tutoring experience
• Experience tutoring 11+ is desirable
• Degree 2.1 or above, or currently studying towards a degree AND Qualified Teacher Status
• Able to work a minimum of 1 hours per week
