  • Targeted Interventions: Delivering high-impact literacy and numeracy support to small groups to help close attainment gaps.

  • Classroom Facilitation: Assisting the teacher in managing the learning environment and preparing creative resources that spark curiosity.

  • Inclusion Support: Providing dedicated one-to-one assistance for pupils with additional learning needs or English as an Additional Language.

  • Behaviour Management: Implementing positive reinforcement strategies to maintain a focused and harmonious classroom atmosphere.

  • Progress Monitoring: Observing and recording pupil milestones to provide valuable feedback during staff planning sessions.

  • Holistic Wellbeing: Supporting the social and emotional development of children during both structured lessons and outdoor play.

Requirements
  • Certification: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) or significant experience in a similar educational role.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills to effectively support academic instruction.

  • Resilience: The ability to remain calm and proactive when faced with the challenges of a fast-paced school day.

  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and a deep commitment to safeguarding protocols.

  • Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to complete a new application.
