Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Pay: 90- 95 per day

We are working closely with welcoming primary schools who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and keen to make a positive difference in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning and classroom organisation. You will work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping to reinforce learning, build confidence, and encourage positive engagement in lessons.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting the class teacher during lessons and classroom activities
  • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions in literacy and numeracy
  • Assisting pupils with reading, writing, and phonics activities
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural needs
  • Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Managing behaviour in line with the school's policies
  • Preparing learning resources and supporting classroom displays
  • Providing pastoral and emotional support to pupils where required
  • Supervising pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and school activities
The ideal candidate will
  • Have previous experience working with children in an educational setting
