Year 3/4 Primary Teacher (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Location: WS3

Start Date: January

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Salary: £140-£200 per day

Smile Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the WS3 area to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Primary Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting in January, with full class teacher responsibilities.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on full responsibility for a mixed Year 3/4 class, including:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, recording and reporting on pupil progress
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEN
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in KS2, ideally within Year 3 and/or Year 4
  • Be confident with full class teaching responsibilities, including planning
  • Have experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) (preferred)
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to making a positive impact
