Primary Teacher
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a compassionate and skilled PPA Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Dartford, working with pupils with complex needs. This part‑time role is based in a Key Stage 2 class that follows the Entry Pathways curriculum, with a strong emphasis on play‑based learning and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
As a Primary Teacher, you will provide engaging and purposeful cover for planning, preparation, and assessment time
You’ll be based in a KS2 Entry Pathways class, supporting pupils with a range of developmental and learning needs
There is a real focus on play‑based, sensory, and exploratory learning, guided by the principles of the EYFS
The school in Dartford is well‑resourced, inclusive, and known for its strong, supportive team
Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons rooted in EYFS principles
Support a nurturing and inclusive environment as a committed Primary Teacher
Work closely with LSAs, therapists, and senior staff to meet individual learning plans
Promote communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain a positive, flexible, and child‑centred approach as a reliable Primary Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Framework and play‑based learning
Previous experience supporting children with complex SEN needs
Confidence teaching within a KS2 Entry Pathways curriculum
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude as a dedicated PrimaryTeacher
Part‑time role (2‑3 days per week) with flexibility to suit your schedule
Located in Dartford with accessible transport links and on‑site parking
