A leading global law firm is seeking a Pricing Analyst to enhance pricing strategies through financial modeling and data analysis. The role involves collaboration with legal teams and requires strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel. Ideal candidates will have experience in a law firm or professional services environment and possess excellent communication skills for presenting pricing strategies. This position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with legal practice management systems such as Aderant or Elite.

Overview

Pricing Analyst - Global Law Firm

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Sector: Legal Services Finance & Pricing Strategy

Responsibilities
  • Partner with legal practice groups and business services teams to deliver insightful pricing analysis and financial modelling.
  • Collaborate with Partners and administrative stakeholders to design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools that drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Develop and refine pricing strategies across a broad range of legal matters to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of alternative fee arrangements and other innovative, client-focused pricing solutions.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data manipulation tools.
  • Advanced skills in Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and macros), as well as solid experience with PowerPoint and Access.
  • Confident working with complex data tables, writing queries, and coding.
Professional Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Pricing or Finance team, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with legal practice management systems such as Aderant or Elite is highly desirable.
  • Strong grasp of pricing models, fee arrangements, and profitability metrics.
Attributes & Interpersonal Skills
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders, including Partners.
  • Confident in presenting pricing strategies and financial recommendations to drive business decisions.
