Job summary

The Fears Watch Company is seeking a dedicated Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department at our Bristol head office. You will assemble watches, build kits, and manage stock while upholding strict quality standards, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with flexible commencement from late August. You will ensure efficient assembly, perform time testing, handle QC, and maintain precise stock records, contributing to exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician on luxury watches.
• Impeccable attention to detail and high dexterity with small components.
• WOSTEP or BHI diploma is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Assemble watches with precision in line with Fears quality standards.
• Prepare build kits and manage component stock transfers accurately.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised workshop and ensure tools are properly maintained.
• Perform quality control on components and final watches; keep QC failure below 1%.
• Test components, regulate watches to match movement specs, and support aftersales quality.
