Job summary

The Fears Watch Company is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department. You will be responsible for assembling our watches and assisting with workshop maintenance, build kit preparation, stock management and quality control.

Location: Bristol, Fears Head Office. Hours: Mon-Fri 9am–6pm. Report to the Operations Manager. Commencing: Late-August onwards. Requires meticulous attention to detail and dexterity with small components.

Qualifications

• Relevant assembly experience and high-level competency assembling and carrying out movement exchanges on a range of mechanical and quartz watches.
• Impeccable attention to detail, highly organised and self-motivated.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high dexterity to handle small components.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of watches in line with quality standards.
• Compile build-kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Ensure smooth assembly according to the schedule.
• Maintain a clean workshop and properly maintained tools.
• Quality control of components and final watches to minimise defects.
• Carry out testing of movements and water resistance.
• Final regulation of watches to match specifications.
• Maintain low aftersales return rate and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate quality concerns or delays to the team.
• Maintain accurate stock records and transfers.
