Job summary

The Fears Watch Company is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department in Bristol. You will assemble watches, build kits, manage component stock, and perform quality control to ensure high standards.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm, with report to the Operations Manager and flexible commencement. The role rewards precision, dexterity with small parts, and a hands-on ethos in a fast-paced workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches is essential.
• WOSTEP / BHI diploma or certification is desirable but not essential.
• Interest in watches and how they work.
• A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate assembly of watches to Fears quality standards.
• Compile build kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Carry out movement exchanges on mechanical and quartz watches.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organised workshop and ensure tools are properly maintained.
• Quality control of components and finished watches; conduct time-keeping and water resistance tests.
• Final regulation of watches to match movement specifications.
• Support aftersales quality by minimizing returns and issues.
