Job summary

The Fears Watch Company is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department at its Bristol head office. You will assemble watches, build component kits, manage stock, and ensure quality control.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with commencement flexible from late August. A fast-paced but rewarding environment awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches is essential.
• WOSTEP / BHI diploma or certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of Fears watches in line with quality standards.
• Compile build‑kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Ensure smooth and time‑efficient assembly following the schedule.
• Maintain a clean, tidy workshop and care for tools and equipment.
• Carry out QC on components and final watches to keep defect rate low.
• Test movements and water resistance; perform final regulation to requirements.
• Support aftersales goals by minimizing returns and delays to workflow.
• Maintain accurate stock records and communicate needs to Operations Assistant.
