Job summary

The Fears Watch Company in Bristol is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will assemble watches, maintain the workshop, build kits and manage component stock with a keen eye on quality.

The ideal candidate will have experience with luxury watches, exceptional dexterity and meticulous attention to detail. Working hours are 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday, with a flexible start from late August.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches.
• Impeccable attention to detail and highly organised.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble watches to Fears quality standards.
• Compile build-kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure tools are properly maintained.
• Conduct quality checks on components and final watches; keep QC failure rate under 1%.
• Test components including time testing movements and water resistance.
• Regulate watches to match movement specifications and ensure customer satisfaction.
