Job summary

A construction company in Skelmersdale is looking for a skilled Shuttering / Mould Joiner. Responsibilities include reading technical drawings, assembling shuttering and moulds, and conducting quality checks prior to concrete pours. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and hold a valid CSCS Card. This position promises stable weekly PAYE payments without umbrella company fees, and requires the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

Working hours

7:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (1hr lunch break) 9hrs paid per day

JOB DUTIES
Shuttering / Mould Joiner
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for precast components.
  • Build, assemble and dismantle shuttering and moulds using timber, steel and formwork systems.
  • Set out moulds accurately to required dimensions, tolerances and finishes.
  • Install cast-in items such as rebates, block-outs, chamfers, fixings and lifting anchors.
  • Adjust and repair moulds to ensure repeated use and consistent quality.
  • Ensure moulds are clean, square, sealed and prepared for casting.
  • Work closely with steel fixers and precast operatives to ensure reinforcement fits correctly within moulds.
  • Carry out quality checks prior to concrete pours.
  • Follow all health & safety procedures within the manufacturing facility.
  • Support continuous improvement of mould designs and production efficiency.
  • Must be capable on reading drawings and setting moulds out.

CIS / UTR Payment (No Umbrella companies / fees)
