Job summary

Keoghs LLP is seeking a Pre-Litigated File Handler to manage up to 250 pre-litigated files, primarily NIHL and HAVS claims, ensuring KPI targets are met. You will run your own caseload, perform initial openings, and liaise with solicitors, insurers and brokers.

The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch, at Parkland Bolton. Strong organisational skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential, along with a good standard of written and spoken communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and using a Case/Claims Management system.
• Ability to use own initiative, self-organise and self-prioritise.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of approximately 250 files.
• Complete Tracker Strategy documents and open new files.
• Conduct company searches and ELTO searches.
• Communicate with claimants, insurers and brokers for evidence.
• Diary dates and monitor protocol expiry.
• Escalate files to Team Leader for review when milestones trigger.
• Review medical, engineering and witness evidence.
• Close files and notify brokers of closure.
• Comply with SRA standards and Keoghs values.
