Job summary

Keoghs in Bolton is seeking a File Handler to manage a caseload of suspected fraudulent EL/PL cases for multiple insurance clients. The role requires forensic and analytical skills, familiarity with employer and public liability claims, and the ability to work on Fast-Track cases with potential for Multi Track up to £100K.

The position sits in the Claims Management department with 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, at Parklands, Bolton Office.

Qualifications

• Experience handling EL/PL files is essential.
• Previous litigation experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and IT skills to review evidence and manage cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of EL/PL files in line with client SLAs.
• Review evidence (witness statements, medical records, reports).
• Conduct investigations and prepare pre-trial materials.
• Draft questions to medical experts and liaise with Counsel.
• Prepare trial bundles and attend conferences and trial proceedings.
