File Handler Pre Litigated Tactical Credit Hire

Are you skilled in credit hire and passionate about delivering outstanding service? We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Credit Hire File Handler to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to investigate complex credit hire claims from a tactical and strategic point, handling claims up to £25,000 in value. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an incredible team and gain more experience, with the goal of significantly reducing overall spend for our insurer clients.

Key Accountabilities
- Education: at least 3 GCSEs or equivalent, degree preferable
- Use own initiative, plan and prioritise workloads
- Excellent listening, verbal communication and telephone negotiation skills
- Follow work processes, maintain strategy, recognise sensitivity and tact
- Make decisions and remain calm under pressure
- Good IT skills including Word, Outlook; experience of a Case Management System preferred
- Experience of credit hire essential – at least 12 months exposure
Technical knowledge to be developed
- Understanding of Pre Proceedings Credit Hire
- Life cycle of a file
- Common law and litigation principles
- Understanding costs and protective offers
- Preparing a case for litigation

Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Hybrid role: 1 day in office, 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Experience of handling credit hire files with evidence of managing own case load
- Education: at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, degree or LPC preferable
- Initiative, planning and prioritising, communication, negotiation skills, process adherence, sensitivity, decision making, calmness under pressure
- Good IT skills including Word, Outlook; case management system experience preferred
