A healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a Practice Nurse to manage chronic diseases including diabetes. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and core nursing skills. The position offers flexible hours to accommodate both parties. Interested candidates should submit their CV and cover letter to the Practice Manager. Due to forthcoming retirement we are recruiting for a Practice Nurse with experience in chronic disease management and specifically diabetes. You would ideally have experience of diabetes as well as the full range of chronic disease management; hypertension; heart failure; COPD; asthma. Hours and working patterns are flexible to suit both parties and salary would depend on skill and experience.
Core nursing skills of wound care, phlebotomy, ECG taking, injections, cervical screening are essential, although it is important to note that this is not a large part of the role as many of these core services are now provided by our CTAC colleagues.
We are a GMS practice based on the east coast of Fife with approximately 9200 patients, using EMIS and DOCMAN IT systems. Our surgery is based in privately owned premises that are being renovated in the coming months.
