We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse for full time or part time for our practice. We are located in Norbury SW16 5PX.

Main duties of the job

The following are the core responsibilities of the Practice Nurse Cervical smears, Child immunisations, Spirometry, Diabetic and Asthma checks, ear irrigation, Complex wound dressings, Suture/clip removal, NHS health checks, Flu vaccination orders and clinics, and Infection Control Audits.

Having a nurse prescriber qualification would be a valuable advantage.

Job summary:

Provide healthcare services to patients underthe guidance of the Doctors.

Provide general assistance to the practice teamand project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors. Mustbe able to work well with other members of staff.

Job responsibilities:

The idealcandidate would be able to provide the following services:

  • Diabetic Check
  • Medication Review
  • Child Immunisation & Travel immunisation
  • Cervical Smear
  • COPD review
  • Ear syringing
  • Flu/Pnuemo/B12/Covid injections, Zoladex/Prostap
  • Complex Dressings

Computer

  • Knowledge of Emis system anadvantage
