We are a friendly and supportive GP Surgery located in a vibrant, multicultural and rapidly growing area of Tottenham, North London.

We are currently seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team, which includes 2 experienced Practice Nurses and 1 Health Care Assistant.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will play a vital role in caring for our patient population, with responsibilities including:

  • Providing treatment and preventative care

We are seeking someone who:

Job responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

  • Practice independently in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery code of conduct and with reference to practice guidelines, appropriately referring to GPs
  • Provide assessment, screening and treatment services and health education advice
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care
  • Ensure continuation of own personal and professional development
  • Any other delegated duties appropriate tothe post
  • Clinical Care:
  • Management of chronic conditions
  • Cytology
  • Wound care
  • Routine immunizations/Childhood immunisations
  • Ear syringing
  • Travel Clinic
  • Removal of Sutures
  • Maintaining GP and Nurses rooms, stocking and rotating items as required
  • Maintain stock of waiting room leaflets
  • Ordering of Health Promotion Literature
  • Participation in administrative systems in the Practice
  • Attend and participate in any Practice meetings when required.
  • Any other delegated duties appropriate tothe post
