A local medical practice in Porth is offering a permanent part-time position for a medical receptionist. The role is for 16 hours a week with varying shifts from Monday to Thursday. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in patient care, be IT literate, and is expected to manage appointments, deal with patients, and perform various clerical tasks. Knowledge of Vision is an advantage but not mandatory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team in a supportive environment.
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced medical receptionist within Cwm Gwyrdd Medical Centre in Gilfach Goch. The role is a permanent post for 16 hours per week Starting from Monday 16th December 2024. Working hours will be:
Monday 1.00pm - 6.30pm
Tuesday 8.00am to 2.00pm
Wednesday 8.00am to 1.30pm
Thursday 12.30pm - 6.30pm
Friday OFF
The ideal candidate should have experience as a receptionist within the medical sector and familiarity with Vision is preferable but not essential.
Managing patient databases. Greeting and dealing with patients. Booking appointments and diary management. Managing telephone switchboards. Read coding. Processing prescriptions. Scanning. Completing clinicians tasks. Please see attached job description for further information.
We have 5 GP partners, 3 salaried GP's, 1 ANP, 2 practice nurses, 3 HCSW, 1 phlebotomists, Practice pharmacist and cluster pharmacist,10 administrators, Deputy Manager and a Practice manager.
