Join us as a PR volunteer and help raise awareness of The Hub @ Toothill. You'll write press releases, connect with local media, and share our story to inspire more people to get involved and celebrate the impact of our community Hub.

We are seeking a PR & Communications Volunteer to help share our journey widely. The Hub @ Toothill CIC is creating a vibrant community space that connects people through the Pub @ the Hub, arts, culture, learning, and tailored support. You'll play a vital role in promoting our work, building relationships with local press, and ensuring our successes and opportunities reach the community and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Draft press releases and news stories for local media outlets.
  • Build relationships with journalists, bloggers, and community media platforms.
  • Support the promotion of events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Work with the wider content team (design, video, and copy) to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage and highlight opportunities for positive publicity.
  • Your work will help put The Hub @ Toothill on the map, ensuring residents, partners, and supporters hear about our progress and successes. By raising our profile in the community and beyond, you'll inspire more people to volunteer, attend events, and support fundraising - directly contributing to the Hub's growth and long-term impact.
Qualifications
