Job Title : PPM Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled PPM Engineer to join a busy FMCG manufacturing site. The role is key to ensuring all plant and machinery operate at peak efficiency minimising downtime and supporting production through structured maintenance programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop implement and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules across all manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections diagnostics and condition monitoring to identify potential issues.
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
  • Record track and report maintenance activities and performance metrics.
  • Assist with installation commissioning and upgrades of new equipment.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a PPM maintenance or reliability engineering role within FMCG manufacturing or a similar environment.
  • Strong mechanical electrical and PLC knowledge.
  • Experience with hydraulic pneumatic and conveyor systems preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively problem-solve and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance reporting tools advantageous.
