The Paid Search team sits within the Performics unit of Publicis Media together with Organic Search, OneSocial, Retail Media and Affiliates. Paid Search works across a variety of Paid Search executions, including Search, Shopping, PMax, App and Demand Gen.

Responsibilities
  • Revenue growth – create commercially driven proposals, expand scope of work, collaborate with other areas to deliver revenue growth and achieve common goals.
  • New Business – lead new business pitch responses and champion the Paid Search proposition across the community.
  • Commercial strategy – lead the commercial strategy for your client portfolio, improve team profitability and fit Publicis tools and data into client strategy.
  • Product adoption – drive change management to adopt products and technology that reinvent planning and buying media.
  • Client sophistication – collaborate with the Head of Paid Search to create strategies that transform client approach to data and measurement.
  • Client roadmaps – deliver client sophistication through strategic roadmaps that unify data, tech and media.
  • Planning leadership – produce the next generation of performance media experts, reinvent how teams plan, buy and measure media.
  • Thought Leadership – promote Performics within PR by publishing articles and speaking at events.
  • Awards – identify market-leading work, track award entry opportunities and draft submissions.
  • Team management – lead a medium to large team of Paid Search experts, provide career paths, talent mobility and upskilling.
Qualifications
  • Extensive prior relevant experience within a digital agency, specifically in Paid Search key suppliers (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Apple Search Ads).
  • Extensive knowledge & experience working with campaign & bid management software, in particular SA360.
  • Extensive experience in managing teams, including individuals with 5+ years’ experience. Effective people management and compliant policies.
  • Ability to offer consultative advice to large-budget advertisers about their Paid Search campaigns and holistic attribution of value relating to the client’s business and marketing success.
  • Strategic experience in identifying & delivering commercial growth – not just in media billings but in new emerging revenue streams.
  • Lead data governance and management in line with global and industry developments, communicating this effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure Financial Quality Assurance is adhered to within the agency / departments / teams and will own mistakes.
  • Create clear data narratives that position Performics and Publicis Media as leading partners in the industry.
  • Build the infrastructure to create the next generation of performance experts.

  • Capable of producing decks and POV aimed to senior clients or new client business.
