A leading traffic management company is searching for a Power Platform Engineer to support and enhance PowerApps and other Power Platform solutions within their Microsoft365 stack. In this role, you will take ownership of current solutions, drive improvements, and streamline operations while collaborating with other teams. We currently have a vacancy for a Power Platform Engineer. Reporting in to the Head of IT, this role will be responsible for maintaining and supporting PowerApps and other Power Platform solutions within our Microsoft365 stack. As our AI & Automation Engineer you will support our current solutions and play a key role in developing new solutions. Over time, you’ll take full ownership of this part of our estate, driving improvements and helping us stay ahead of the curve.

This role will be Remote but with some occasional travel required to meet the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, maintain, and support PowerApps and other Power Platform solutions within our Microsoft365 stack.
  • Champion automation where practicable, streamlining manual operations and boosting efficiencies.
  • Integrate workflows and data connections between Microsoft 365, Azure AI services and other systems leveraging REST APIs.
  • Keep existing Power Automate workflows running smoothly and aligned with business needs.
  • Work with the IT Service Desk Team and Head of IT to identify opportunities to enhance our business processes.
  • Ensure we’ve got the right documentation in place.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs such as Oracle NetSuite to boost efficiencies across the group.
  • Drive power platform implementations through all project phases, including discovery, definition, build, test, and deployment.
  • Implement Power Platform governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Someone who thrives on solving problems, communicates clearly, and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities across key business processes.
  • A thirst for knowledge and a desire to keep learning and growing in your role.
  • Ability to spot opportunities for efficiency, translate technical concepts for non-technical staff, and drive cost savings.
  • Skills in PowerApps with knowledge of Power Automate integration and Power BI familiarity.
  • You will care about delivering high-quality solutions that are robust, secure, scalable and maintainable.
