Power Platform Developer - Contract (Outside IR35)
Rate: Circa 700 per day
Location: Hybrid - Home working with on-site work at a Bristol-based defence client
Duration: 6 months
A Bristol-based SME delivering digital and data solutions into the defence sector is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to support the design and build of secure, scalable business applications. This is a 6-month contract, operating outside IR35, with a hybrid working model combining remote delivery and on-site collaboration in Bristol.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing complex Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to support critical business processes within a regulated environment. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust, user-friendly solutions that can be deployed across multiple teams and environments.
A key focus of the role will be building multi-tenant solutions using environment variables to enable seamless switching between data sources across development, test, and production environments. You will integrate applications with SharePoint and Dataverse, designing efficient data models and applying role-based security to ensure appropriate access controls are in place. Experience working within structured delivery and governance frameworks is essential.
To be considered, you will need 3-5 years' commercial experience as a Power Platform Developer, with strong hands-on capability across Power Apps and Power Automate, and a solid understanding of Microsoft data services. You must hold active SC Clearance.
