A government agency in Glasgow is seeking an experienced candidate to develop and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The role requires expertise in Power Apps and Power Automate, along with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders. This role will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions that enhance collaboration and drive efficiencies across our organisation. This role will focus on developing apps and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform to streamline processes and improve productivity. You will be responsible for gathering stakeholder input, creating prototypes, and leveraging tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build robust solutions that seamlessly integrate into existing systems and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs). The role requires expertise in Power Platform components, Azure services, and data governance, as well as strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
We are looking for proven experience in developing and customising Microsoft Power Apps (Canvass & Model‑driven), Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint and Teams. You will be skilled in full project lifecycle management, from requirements gathering to solution deployment, with solid understanding of ALM practices. Hands‑on experience with Azure services, Function Apps, APIs, and data integration (Dataverse, SharePoint). Strong grasp of database concepts, process automation, and data governance including security and GDPR compliance. Excellent problem‑solving, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience designing and developing AI chatbots or agents using Microsoft Bot Framework or Azure Cognitive Services.
