  • Co-ordinate the Resident rotation.
  • Conduct weekly Academic Teaching.
  • Ensure statutory and mandatory training is provided.
  • Facilitate mock exams throughout the year.
  • Minute education-related meetings as required.
  • Provide advice and support to all grades of doctors.
  • Work autonomously while promoting a positive approach.

Position Overview

The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high quality support service to the medical workforce across all grades in relation to postgraduate medical education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co‑ordination of the Resident rotation
  • Weekly Academic Teaching
  • Statutory and Mandatory training
  • Facilitating mock exams throughout the year
  • Minuting to education related meetings as required
  • Providing advice and support to all grades of doctors
  • Exercising initiative at a significant level and working autonomously while demonstrating a positive approach to multi‑disciplinary working

  • Highly organised with a ‘can‑do’ attitude
  • Flexible and willing to assist medical colleagues across the trust with everyday educational needs
