Qualifications

  • Full clean UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Safe and professional movement of patients, equipment, specimens, waste, and supplies.
  • Cleaning and checking equipment, reporting any faults promptly.
  • Working courteously with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Supporting the Trust's onsite and community courier service.
  • Assisting specialist departments (e.g. X-ray, Endoscopy, Emergency, and Theatres).
  • Dignified conveyance of deceased patients to the Mortuary.

Job description
Overview

Porter role at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Location: Torbay Hospital, TQ2 7AA. Shifts: Sunday - Monday - Various shifts available (06:00 - 14:00 and 21:00 - 07:00).

Band 2 - £12.21 per hour Monday-Friday; £17.22 per hour on Saturdays; £22.34 on Sundays.

This is a temporary position. You must also have a clean full UK Driving Licence.
