Job description

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a successful candidate to join our busy team of porter Services and based at Princess of Wales Hospital. The position will consist mainly of porter duties as per role requirements. Some driving will be required. The post is for 22.5 contracted hours weekly on a fixed term contract for 12 months, and will be managed for services Monday to Friday. Porter services comprise of operational duties associated with waste, transport, community beds team, mail, support to cleaning services and general hospital porter duty functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a porter service which meets all organisational and legislative standards and support the Facilities Unit commitment to quality standards.
• Support driving services, within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Bridgend Region.
• Develop, maintain and promote the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
• Ensure a high quality service is delivered to patients, staff and visitors.
