Job summary

Peel Ports Group at the Port of Liverpool is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term contract to maintain the traffic management system and operate the SCADA and weighbridge safely.

You will liaise with engineers, operatives and supervisors to coordinate vessel discharge, storage activities and ensure accurate weighing and timely vehicle movement, with strong IT skills and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge or similar administrative support in an operational setting.
• Knowledge of bulk handling methods or food safety/waste regs is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the SCADA system and ensure tickets are processed in line with SOPs.
• Coordinate vessel discharge and storage activities with engineers and team leaders.
• Support safe and efficient movement of products and meet vehicle turnaround targets.
