Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis at the Port of Liverpool. The role involves operating a weighbridge and SCADA system, processing tickets, and coordinating with engineers and team leaders to ensure safe and efficient terminal operations.

You will deliver excellent customer service to hauliers and visitors, maintain compliance with procedures, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while using various software packages including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good IT skills and ability to use a range of software packages, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge and manage the SCADA system to ensure safe, efficient site operations.
• Process tickets accurately and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to support vessel discharge and storage activities.
• Maintain accurate records and report delays or issues to the Shift Supervisor.
• Provide high-quality customer service to hauliers and visitors while maintaining safety and compliance.
