Job summary

Peel Ports Group at the Port of Liverpool is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term contract. You will maintain the traffic management system and ensure the safe operation of the site, including weighbridge processes and ticketing in line with SOPs.

You will liaise with engineers, operatives and team leaders to coordinate vessel discharge, storage activities and product movements, while monitoring turnaround times and reporting delays.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing admin support in an operational environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication with strong attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and ability to use a range of software, including Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate weighbridge and process tickets in line with SOPs.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders for vessel discharge and storage activities.
• Support movements of products and monitor vehicle turnaround times; report delays to Shift Supervisor.
• Promote safe and compliant weighbridge operation.
